Research Focus

I am interested in how balance is controlled and perceived. This interest started with tripping people during my master’s degree at the VU in Amsterdam, preceded during my Ph.D. at Salford university where I looked at how Stroke Survivors adapted their gait. Continuing studying the effects of Virtual reality on perception, movement coordination and balance.
